These number plates fit older 1940's thru 1970's style Cairns leather helmet front piece shields - The plates are a recent metal reproductions with artificial old school style numbers attached to the plate and painted. This plate is not Blackington nor was it made in the Chicago shops. Its produced by some other non commercial maker. This is not a official duty plate. The plate is

    a decorative piece that will nicely dress up a helmet or front piece in your collection. No tricks here, the leather front piece shield is not included. The fastener bolts not included.
