Sharp & Dohme Manufacturing Chemists were located in Baltimore, Md in the 1800's. Pharmaceuticals were produced by the company primarily.  This 5 gallon hand blown aqua colored bottle held a root beer liquid which contained 15% alcohol.  The bottle has the number 5 at the bottom as well as many bubbles throughout.  No cracks or chips.  The bottle measures 19" tall by 10" in diameter.
The wooden hinged box was used to store and ship the bottle and has the remains of the original label on the box with a picture of the company building.  The box is in fair condition and shows sign of age.
A really interesting set to add to your collection.
