Description
Vintage fold-out 1935 Conoco road map of Ohio, printed more than 85 years ago.The map opens to 18" x 24" and has great detail on old highway alignments and route numbers, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
On the reverse side there are inset plans of Akron, Columbus, Dayton, Toledo, Youngstown, Springfield, Cleveland, and Cincinnati.
The map was published in 1935 by the Continental Oil Company of Denver, Colorado to promote its Conoco brand gasoline and motor oil.
It is dated by the code number in the lower margin: I-4. Population data is from the 1930 census.
Condition:
This map is in very good, lightly used condition, with route markings by the Conoco Travel Bureau and
no
