    Description

Handsome fold-out 1963 Conoco road map of Nebraska, printed more than 54 years ago.
The map opens to 18" x 27" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
On the reverse side there are inset plans of Lincoln, Grand Island, North Platte, Hastings, Fremont, Omaha, Sioux City, and the Black Hills region of South Dakota.
This map was distributed by the Continental Oil Company of Denver in 1967 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 8-KK. Little triangles on the map locate Conoco service stations in the state.
The front cover has an attractive pinstripe design, and there's a Conoco branding iron and the slogan "Hottest Brand Going..." on the back cover, with the code 4361.
