The bolt works with stainless steel and brass nuts in Tri-Clamp fitting connections. This replacement will create a leak-free seal so you get the results you’re looking for. The replacement nut is made to withstand high-pressure environments and fluctuating temperatures. Prevent galling and don’t over-tightening the nut onto the bolt. Galling is a “cold weld” that is very difficult to remove. Always lubricate your bolts when threading a nut to prevent galling.
