    Description

    Antique COLGANS TAFFY TOLU Candy Glass Apothecary Jar NO LID.  There are no cracks or chips on the jar.  There are some blown glass air bubbles on the jar.  Both sides of the jar have the raised letters that read Colgans Taffy-Tolu.
    Colgan was the original inventor of chewing gum and the company was sold in 1911.  This jar was used at the Del Monte Grocery store by the Robbins family in the early 1900's which is located in San Luis Obispo, Ca.
    Measurement for the jar are: Height is 8 1/2 inches, Width is 5 1/4 inches and the top opening is 4 inches.  The jar weighs 2lbs. 9 ozs.
