Part of a cordial set- the tiny glasses and bottle would have set inside the holes……
Gorgeous Antique HINGED Apothecary JarThis lovely and very unusual piece is marked Czechoslovakia, has a 2 brass rims~hinged~ and firmlyattached to the bottom portion of the bottle.
The lid has come unattached from its brass ring~as the ring has a break and needs
to be resoldered. See photos.
The lid has a beautiful bubble in the glass of the knob.
There is a curious metal insert/divider? that has round holes in it and is stationary, does not come out.
There are thin gold stripes around the bottom portion of the jar.
The edge of the lid is chippy.
Approx 10" tall.
