Antique Glass Apothecary Storage Jar with Rough Pontil and Original Tin Cover

Antique Glass Apothecary Storage Jar with Rough Pontil and Original Tin Cover.   This piece measures  9 1/4" high to the top of the tin cover and it is 8 7/8" high to the lip of the jar.  It is  3 1/2" in diameter at the top and 5" in diameter at the bottom. This piece has a rough pontil as you can see in the photos.   The condition of this piece is good.   There  is one small spot of sediment at the rim and a small chip on the inside of the rim. There is also a check in the glass near the chip.  There are no cracks.  The glass is clear and bright.  The tin cover I believe to be original and I have cleaned off a bit of surface rust.
