Antique NORRISTOWN PA High Eagle Helmet w/ Nickel-Plated Shield MONTGOMERY FIRE
This is the last Fire helmet I have from this collection.  This auction is for an antique high eagle leather fire helmet made by Cairns & Bro of New York.  The helmet has a nickel-plated shield on the front for the Montgomery Hose Co of Norristown, Montgomery County, PA.  The helmet is leather with an old black & gold repaint and a fancy “M” on the back brim.  The high eagle is also embossed Cairns & Bro.  The maximum dimensions are 10 ¾” wide x 14 ¼” long x 8 ¾” high.  The condition is VF to Excellent with very light wear, an old repaint, and the Cairns & Brother tag under the front brim is loose at one nail.  Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.  See my other auctions.  Combined shipping is available to save postage.
