    Description

Hello, up for your consideration is a rare antique Austrian late 19th c. apothecary pharmacy bottle in exquisite colored brown amber crystal glass. The label is porcelain enamel over the glass and reads "Ol.Menth.Crisp" (or Oleum Menthae Crispae - Spearmint Oil). Highly decorative intricate curvilinear colored frame label in Art Nouveau pattern is typical for late 19th century. The bottle features an octagonal faceted stopper. These type of bottles were published in Hermann Steinbuch, Wien (Vienna Austria) general price catalog for apothecary equipment from 1897.
The bottle would make a stunning accent piece of early apothecary history in your drugstore /bar /store interior!
