Offered for bid is a unique German WW2 wartime photo album that contains 126 wartime photos showing a Wehrmacht soldiers combat experiences on the Russian Front! This album shows some really wonderful views with a focus on combat service in Russia - all photos accounted for and most having handwritten notations next to each photo adding to the overall value of this photo album! The photos show such views as: studio soldier portrait pics, Wehrmacht combat infantry advancing during Operation BARBAROSSA (1941), KO'd Russian panzer tanks (several great views!), weapons (rifles, machine guns, etc.), front line combat, ranking Wehrmacht officers, occupation duties and interaction with local Russian populace, defensive positions at the front lines, Russian POW's, KIA Russian soldier (not shown in scans), KIA German soldier graves, time spent in the captured Ukrainian city of KIEV, a brief leave in France (PARIS), etc!
