Offered for bid are two (2) original German wartime photographs (see scan), one of which shows famed Gebirgsjäger Oberstleutnant MATHIAS KRÄUTLER (who late in the war was promoted to General)! The second photo which came with the one showing KRÄUTLER, shows a Gebirgsjäger in snow camo with two Russian POW's in winter! A pair of really great views, with both photos measuring to be approximately 4" x 2.75" inches in size (not including the paper they are matted on)! Really a great and powerful little grouping of wartime photos for one lucky bidder to walk away with! Guaranteed original wartime photos; No reproductions or postwar copies!
