Offered for bid is a unique German WW2 wartime photo album that contains 208 wartime photos showing the experiences of a German soldier who saw service for sometime in France (the city of COLMAR being prominently noted in several photos), Greece (only a couple photos showing this Theater of War) and more extensive wartime combat experience on the Russian Front (cities of MINSK, BRYANSK, NICHOLSKOJE, DOBRUNY, WYASMA and GERCHASK being some of the places noted!)! All the photos in this album are accounted for with none missing, with the same faces / themes shown throughout and many of the photos in it being captioned with handwritten German text; adding to the overall value of this album! The photos in the album show such views as: studio uniformed soldier pics, soldier buddy pics, occupation duties, KIA German soldier graves, Russian POW's, German troops advancing into Russian in 1941, vehicles, winter warfare, a Wehrmacht sporting event in Russia in 1943, weapons, etc!
