This is a Chicago Fire Department 1940's-1980's style number plate. BROTHERHOOD OF THE BARRELL B.O.B. The plate is a metal reproduction with artificial old school CFD style letters attached to the plate and painted to match the Chicago Fire Department Helmet style number plates used back in the good ole days. This plate is not Blackington nor was it made in the Chicago shops. Its produced by some other non commercial maker. This is not a heavy duty plate its merely a decorative piece that will nicely dress up a Chicago helmet or front piece in your collection. Plate is the exact dimension as the originals see pictures. No tricks here, the helmet is not included, the leather front piece shield is not included, the flag is not included. The fastener bolts not included. This listing for for the number plate only.
