Chromed Airborne Paratrooper Souvenir Cigarette Case and Lighter

Description

This is a very unique item It is a vintage chromed cigarette case and lighter with a set of paratrooper wings on the front. I do not know the age of this. It is likely newer than World War II but not much newer - when did cigarette cases go out of style, in the '50's? It measures about 5 inches wide by about 3 inches high. It opens to expose the stored cigarettes. The lighter pulls out to replenish the fluid and change the flint. It moves well but needs a flint. Condition is good. The finish is completely intact, and there are only some very faint light scratches and marks (mostly seen only in reflection of light) consistent with mild use. The inside is stamped with a Patent number and a logo that looks like a capital L inside a circle.
