Conoco Touraide Postcard – Cliff Palace, Mesa Verde, Colorado
Offered for auction is an unused 3.5 x 5.5 in postcard depicting Cliff Place, Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado. These were included in Touraide trip planning packages offered by the Conoco (Continental Oil Co.) Travel Bureau, between 1946-’52. This is a new-old stock item, though showing some natural edge wear and yellowing/discoloration due to age (see image of actual item offered). High bidder pays via PayPal adding an additional .00 to partially defer actual packaging and USPS 1st Class postage costs.

Bidding Restrictions:
We reserve the right not to accept bids from individuals with hidden feedback, a negative feedback rating or by individuals with a feedback rating of less than 10.
Bidder Notification:
High bidder will be invoiced via e-mail after the end of the auction. Notification is usually sent within 24 hours, however, may be delayed due to heavy auction volume.
Shipping:
Shipping and handling charges, as posted in the listing, will be added to the invoice and are the responsibility of the buyer. We charge buyers our actual costs to ship the item listed and will neither inflate these costs to pad profits nor inflate our items’ listing prices in order to provide “free shipping”. A reasonable handling charge is added to cover the costs of sales administration, packaging materials and if necessary, delivery to the common carrier. Whenever possible, we will use recycled packaging in order to minimize costs for the buyer and because it’s the environmentally responsible thing to do. Normal method of shipment is via USPS unless an alternate method is annotated in items’ description or other mutually acceptable arrangements are made. For purchases of multiple items, we will calculate discounted combined shipping costs at the time of invoicing. International shipping, when accepted, will result in additional charges.
Insurance:
Insurance is included in shipping costs ONLY when specifically annotated (typically on items valued in excess of 0). Insurance coverage on non-insured items is at the option of the buyer at additional cost, but highly recommended. We will NOT accept liability for loss or damage incurred in-transit on non-insured items.
Payment:
Payment in US funds is expected to be remitted via PayPal (www.paypal.com) within 3 days from the date of invoice. If payment has not been received, item will be forfeited and re-listed (See "Reluctant Bidder Notice" below).

Returns:
All items sold "as is." A 10-day return privilege is extended only for items not properly described. All returns must receive a return authorization number.
