About Sight Glass Process Views
Process view sight glasses offer the ability to view product within the tank without exposing it to outside elements. This allows for fermentation or other processes to be monitored visually in the midst of operation. They are often installed as a semi-permanent fixture on a variety of tanks. An electric LED process view sight glass is offered as an option for those with a need to see further into their product. Each stainless steel process view sight glass comes apart for easy cleaning. Gaskets & seals/seats are non-returnable.
Selecting the Correct Gasket
SG DIN PTFE gaskets are designed specifically for our newest model of DIN sight glass process views. While these gaskets may appear compatible, the measurements may be slightly different (compared to SGPV-HW-### gaskets). Please give us a call to verify which gasket is correct for your situation.
What type of material should I use?
While we are prohibited from recommending a gasket type, we do offer a
Chemical Resistance Chart
(new window) that matches the resistance level of gasket materials to the different chemicals / food products you may be using. We may suggest using an A- or B-rated gasket for your particular application.
