    Early Cairns & Brother Bro Metal Fire chiefs Helmet NY fireman antique 1897 RARE
    This is a rare helmet from the late 1800s. The helmet is a chief helmet found in Boston. I found it near Boston Massachusetts about 30 years ago.  I think this is very collectible helmet. The helmet is tagged 1897 and seems to be a very rare early example of a fire chiefs helmet.
