    Description
    FKM gaskets and screens are FDA approved, meet USP Class VI and 3A compliance, provide high acid resistance and a versatile working temperature range (-20°F - 400°F). FKM does not have a strong Base resistance and performs poorly when used with ketones. It is not recommended for continuous use in SIP procedures. Mesh screens are made from stainless steel SS316.
    Gaskets and Seals are non-returnable.

    What type of material should I use?
    While we are prohibited from recommending a gasket type, we do offer a
    Chemical Resistance Chart
    (new window) that matches the resistance level of gasket materials to the different chemicals / food products you may be using. We may suggest using an A- or B-rated gasket for your particular application.
