    Description

    Another exceptional and extremely difficult to find Japanese tin bus by IY Metal Toys. You see this bus ever once in a while, but hardly ever in this kind of condition.
    These IY buses are my all time favorite Japanese tin buses. This one measures approximately 16.5" long (41.9 cm) by 5.5” tall (14 cm) and 4.5" wide (11.4 cm).
    Everything is totally original, the paint, trim, tires, and interior. This is one of the few IY yellow buses I’ve seen without touchups.
    There are a few extremely minor abrasions, and no touchups. The green celluloid skylights are original and without breaks or tears.
    The tin trim bumpers and the roof running lights are in outstanding original condition along with the rubber tires and the red wheels. The lithographed interior seats are excellent. The windshield celluloid is original and nice. The tin IY logo grill is very nice and the amber headlight lenses trimmed in tin are excellent. The colors of this bus are simply outstanding.
    The baseplate is original as well and adorned with the previous owners name proudly scratched into the paint. The friction works, just as it should.
