Bartomeu Rebés was born in La Seu d'Urgell, Spain in 1910. He died in Andorra la Vella, Andorra in 1997.
Bartomeu Rebés was a generous patron for many intellectuals and artists. His passion for photography continued in those of film and video. Leaving an enormous phgotographic background of more than half a century of the history of contemporary Andorra.

Claverol's work is considered a major work of photographic art -focusing on the daily lives of ordinary people and landscape scenery of his homeland, Andorra.
He and his wife ran the general store on the biggest square in the country, Andorra la Vella, where he sold his landscape photos as postcards.
