    Description

    Another treasure from my grandpa's fishing gear - a Humphreys model 3A fishing reel made of stainless steel in Denver, Colorado.  According to one of the forums, "J. B. Humphreys was the maker and his design was reputedly the first closed face spinning reel. These were mostly used for Steelhead fishing."  I'm not an expert but this reel seems to be in very good condition and I'm impressed with the simplicity of its design.
