Description
Manufactured by Keim Co. in Nuremburg, Germany, lithographed tin, circa 1920’s. Colorful image of cowboy holding tray that reads “Please one penny!,”. Place a penny on his plate, tip his arms back and he eats the penny. There’s no damage, no bends or heavy scratches in finish. There’s light scuffing here and there, but for 100 years old it looks great. Does not have the key for the top, it is unlocked so you can just slide the top off. There’s been no repairs to the finish or bending anything back straight, it’s always been right.Very rare bank, only a few seen in recent years. Was a treasured piece of a collection, but have to liquidate the collection. Open to reasonable offers, but if you’re looking, you know what this is.
