How to Use
Replacing the maintenance tank
The maintenance cartridge absorbs ink used in maintenance operations such as head cleaning and
changing black ink. Replace the cartridge
when you see a message on the touch screen.
Follow these steps to replace the tank:
1. Turn on your product.
2. Open the maintenance cartridge cover.
3. Remove the new maintenance cartridge from the package.
Caution:
Do not touch the chip on the cartridge,or you may damage the product.
4. Push up slightly on the maintenance cartridge and carefully slide it out of the product without tilting it.
5. Insert the new maintenance cartridge in the slot.
6. Close the maintenance cartridge cover.
