    Mighty Midget - Hand Cast Tin Toy Cars.
    This “mighty midget”, “collect-a-car” state they are “hand cast metal” they are a colorful bunch.
    It is very rare to see the whole Collection in this condition.
    7 made by or for: Borgfeldt Corp. (usa)- is a distributor who marketed tin toys made military castings as "mighty midget. The company also made these regular vehicle series of 12. 5 interestingly show “by Shackman Company-NY” on the box cover.
    I bought these at a car show in the early 80s. Hard to tell when they were produced. The only mark on base in (Honk Kong) and info on back of each box as shown
    Condition. Most of the boxes are mint to near mint. A few have slight wear but have been stored for over 30 years untouched. The cars are also mint to near mint. A few as shown may have minor imperfections.
    Note: I do not guarantee these toys are 100% tin. They are certainly metal but I cannot verify as I using internet source (George Borgfeldt & Co Diecast History- hobbytalk.com)
