This listing is for a used BH-70L battery holder. It converts your Maxxum 7000 or 5000 to run on 4 AA alkaline batteries. It is in
very nice condition,
showing just the lightest bit of edge wear. Flat surfaces are in very nice shape. No corrosion in the battery compartment.
Besides the benefit of a longer power reserve, changing to this holder offers other benefits. AA batteries can be cheaper and more readily stocked, particularly in more remote locations, and the BH70-L adds about a half inch in width to the camera grip, making it much more comfortable and secure when holding the camera or shooting pictures.
Back in the day, I had one of these on my 7000 since it was new and would not have it any other way. It’s a huge improvement on the standard AAA holder. If you forgot the batteries in your original holder and corrosion spoiled it, or would just like an upgrade, you should definitely upgrade to the AA version.
