    Description

Nice 19th. Century Free Blown Glass Medical Leech Jar Rolled Lip and Pontil Scar
This early, free-blown leech jar stands about 8 1/4 inches tall and is about 8 inches in diameter. It is very clean. The lip is rolled to the outside and a pontil scar is found on the base. A few made-in-use scratches are seen on the exterior near the neck. We find no chips or cracks. One very small surface bubble has lost its outer skin. Here's a nice, early piece of apothecary history!
Due to the large size of this jar, the shipping will be more expensive.
Multiple payment options are available through eBay's Managed Payments.
We do not end auctions early.
We will not falsify shipping documents.

Many states now require the collection of interstate sales tax. Vendors have no control over this policy, nor is the tax sent to us. Ebay collects and submits this tax.
Please note that rising postal rates have dramatically impacted shipping costs, especially on larger items.
Important: California, Hawaii, and Alaska buyers please wait to be invoiced before paying so we may assess postage costs.
