    Description

Very Nice. For sale is a VERY SMALL. gorgeous, early, free-blown, apothecary jar.  It measures only 6.25" to the rim (9.25" to tip of knob).  It is 4 inches in diameter.  It is hand blown with two applied rings on the jar.   The original lid is blown, and has an applied ring and a hand formed and shaped glass knob.   The lid is in good condition, with many little tiny nibble chips along the rim, but no cracks. See pics. The body of the jar is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. Nice shelf wear on the bottom. There is a nice, high pontil on the bottom. Please see all pics. This is a very beautiful, all original, hand-blown jar... in very good condition.
It is rare to find them in smaller sizes!  This is the smallest I have ever seen.  It is very nice to have small jars; they are handy, and if you have a grouping of them, the variation in sizes looks great.
The jar will be packed well and shipped USPS First Class.
