A pair of “tin tab” constructed emergency cars. The Standard 50’s Black & White Police Car and an old era Fire Chief Car. Highly detailed, stamped Tin Lithographed. 3 Dimensional features. Typical of 1950’s & 1960’s Japan Exports.
From “Lucky Toy”, Japan. Famous for their successful 1950 & 1960’s toy importing to the USA. These have been kicking around a warehouse since the 1960’s in the original “Lucky Toy” factory boxes. Minor warehouse patina, insignificant scratches I tried to highlight them in the photos, but they are so small they barely show.
They are, 6 inches long and 2 ¼ inches wide. The color lithographed details are so meticulous, that you can see the expressions on the faces of the Emergency Crews inside. The wheels are rubber and mounted on an axle. Durable “Heavy Duty” Tin Stamped body. The separate base chassis is bright plated and has the bumpers stamped and folded to the proper shape on the front and back, with a running rail down both sides. Looks appropriate. They come in their tagged Package. The tag is colorfully Illustrated and says, “Lucky Toy ~ Made in Japan”. We ship this set by First Class Mail.
