UNIQUE Vintage Pharmacy Apothecary Glass Bottle Jar Globe Stopper•Medicine RARE

Description

This is what I assume is an antique pharmacy/apothecary jar with a unique, turquoise glass globe stopper.
What I think is so unique about this piece is that the stopper’s interior is hollow and it has a corked bottom which leads me to believe that it must have held a separate substance.
Bottle and stopper are in very nice condition with no chips or cracks.
There are no seams in the glass or the stopper. They seem to be one fluid piece.
Please let me know if you know any specifics about tis piece.
