circa 1920's.    Helmet marked   'Property F.D.N.Y.'
Red,  painted with White center stripe Steel Safety Helmet.
Back is stamped  'US GOV , Property , OCD'
& written  'Fr. Layton 8504' (original owner)
interior Harness/Rigging is still intact.
