It has a leather head badge

held in place by a
metal eagle
shaped finial
says

the liner has  a label
inside hard to read it all
time has taken its toll on it.

the shield reads:

the measurements are as follows:
it stands seven and three quarter inches tall
by
sixteen inches wide
side profile
with shield in place
fourteen actual helmet length
and
thirteen inches wide

eleven and a half inches
actual helmet width
the inside measurement
is
eight inches
by
nine and a quarter inches
in an oval
It has partial label
and
tag.
