Vintage Cairns Black Leather fire helmet with shield size 7 1/4

My father and I were volunteer firefighters in the 1960's and 70's. This helmet belonged to my dad and is all original. The helmet front shows some patina that appears to be damage caused by heat. I'm not an expert but this helmet appears to be older than my helmet that is listed separately. These have been on display for years in my office and then at my home after I retired. My wife and I have begun the process of downsizing and the kids don't have any real interest in these items so I'm looking to pass them on to someone who will appreciate them.
