Very Cool Antique Lehmann Tut Tut Toy!
One of EPL's most loved and popular toys, the Tut Tut had a very long production range (c. 1903-1935)
Classy White Auto with red trim
Snazzy white suited man with boater style hat holding a horn to his mouth
Fixed key spring drive powers the rear wheels and bellows
Bellows (intact) makes a faint horn "honk" as the car drives
Generously marked by Lehmann on hood and trunk area, with the original 1903 US patent on the rear
Measures approx. 6-1/2" Long
Great addition to any collection!
Condition:
Good overall condition. Light scattered scratching and minor loss to original paint. Mild layer of dust in corners, crevices, and areas from age and display. Some light discoloration to original paint coupled with some mild scattered oxidation. Red lettering a bit worn. Original paint roughly at 85%.. Spring drive is functioning and runs pretty well when on a full wind. Bellows is intact and is working, making a faint horn noise as it drives. Mostly goes right with a hard turn mixed in.
