Vintage Fire Fighters Equipment Red Helmet Retired Newport Beach FD, Ca

We offer for your consideration this retired piece of Firefighters equipment.
This is the real deal, a firefighter's helmet once used by the City of Newport beach Fire Department in southern California.
We looked but couldn't find any indication of the manufacturer of this helmet. The helmet shell is a fiberglass and resin composite. The shield is a Paulson Mfg. Model FF-6
The profile of the helmet looks very much like an older "Phenix First" but that is just a guess on our part.
Condition- This helmet has seen some use, there are scratches on the top ridge and crown area. There is a fracture of the gelcoat at the right rear (see picture)
The straps are in good condition, but the edge trim on the earlap is cracking at regular intervals of 1 to 1/2 inch (see picture)
All these signs of use add very much to the authenticity of this helmet, I hope it served Officer Murphy well when it was employed.
