    Description

Very nice (empty) Whitall Tatum Apothecary Drugstore Glass Jar with Frosted Base Topper or Lid and P. Canthar Metal Label.  'W.T. CO B USA' on bottom gives indication it was likely made 1900-1920.  Cantharidin (aka Spanish Fly) is a painless liquid blistering agent used to treat variety of skin growths. It is applied directly to the wart, molluscum lesion, or affected area on the skin.  Measures 9.5"H (with Top) x 3.75" diam.  This came from a residence in Warwick, RI, which had family-owned store and drugstore attached to it during early 1900's but the store attachment was eventually torn down.   Condition is very good.  Bottle also has some residue or remnants which we have tried to wash out but remain.  Label has some minor wear along edges.  Bottle has no chips or cracks.  Zoom in photos as part of description.   This will ship fast and FREE!  Contact us any questions we try our best and hope you'll follow our store we focus on rare and unique.
