Vintage Large Japanese Tin Penny Toy Yellow Animal Taxi No. 2

Description

This larger size free rolling penny toy tin car is 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) long and 2 inches (5 cm) wide. The colorful all tin car rolls on tiny rubber wheels. Each car (there are four different) has a large number on the roof. This is number 2 and it is a yellow taxi with pig driver with some femme fatale dog like creature sitting beside him in the front seat and a hippo and pipe smoking bull in back. A rabbit is on the hood and a racoon playing an accordion is on the back trunk deck.
Made in Japan, probably early 1960's vintage, this colorful tin car is in excellent condition.
