Vintage Lift Arm "SEGALOCK" Lighter In Working Condition

Description

You are bidding on a Segalock "lift arm" Lighter in good working condition, circa 1920s.
Its base is marked "Pat Pend., Segalock Product."
Made by the Segalock company, designed by owner Samuel Segal.
During the late 1920s, Segal designed a handful of lift arm mechanical petrol lighters. Most of his lighters were made in gold plate and nickel-silver plate. It is thought that Segal lighter production ended in the early 1930s.
Measures approx. 1-3/4" height x 1-1/2" long and 1/2" wide.
The lighter works fine. It is in good cosmetic condition , although shows some wear and has some discoloration. Wrapped in almost black-green leather with floral deigns in gold.
