Vintage Mark Cross Gold Plated Lighter in Deep Blue Enamel 1970's -Made In Italy

This beautiful and rare vintage Mark Cross gold plated lighter in deep prussian blue enamel is a sophisticated and highly desirable piece of tobacciana. It would make a lovely gift.
I couldn't find many of these lighters on the market at all, but from my research, I believe it was made in the 1970's.
It is marked as follows on bottom:
Mark Cross
PLAQUE OR.G (which means that it is plated with 20 microns of gold)

Made In Italy
Mark Cross was established in Boston in 1845 by Henry W. Cross, who affectionately named the company after his only son. It is still in business and is known as the quintessential American luxury lifestyle brand.
Needs Flint and Gas. There is some minor scuffing, but no scratches or dents. I'm not sure if it works, but judging from the condition, I think it will. I have priced it accordingly.
