VINTAGE MARX LITHO TIN TOY WINDUP SPARKING DOUGHBOY TANK WORKING

This is a tin litho windup sparking tank by
Marx
. Not sure of the exact date, but probably the 40's or 50's. Everything works on this toy. When it is wound with the included, removable key, and the start/stop lever is pushed the tank runs; a soldier with gun pops out and the turret sends out a shower of sparks. The tank is 10 inches long, 4 1/8 inches wide, 5 inches tall.  It has wooden drive wheels and a rubber guide wheel. Another fun Max toy even by today's standards and still in excellent condition.
