Vintage Milwaukee Fire Department Lieutenant Leather Helmet Badge:
This badge reads:
“ACT.
LIEUT.
MFD”
It has a metal back and learher on the front. It came out of an estate in the Milwaukee area so the MFD is most likely referring to that fire department. The badge shows its age with significant creasing, paint loss, and wear on the leather as well as scratches and wear on the metal. The stitching is good. It measures approximately 4.75” tall and 5” wide.
