    APOTHECARY CANDY JAR
    GROUND TO FIT
    Exceptional & rarely if ever seen
    "ruby flash"
    "ground to fit" BANJO display jar that would have been seen in a high end Confectionary store or Soda fountain at the turn of the last century!
    Both the inside collar of the jar & outside edge of the "steeple" lid are "ground to fit" each other & fit flawlessly as they should!
    No nicks, fleabites or cracks on this "original to this jar" steeple type lid!
    The glass is crystal clear without any typical "haze" often seen on these jars!
    The jar shows minimal if any actual use on location so was probably never used as a candy jar & was most likely used as a "display jar"!
    The rims at the base & opening of the jar are "smooth as ilk" showing no typical fleabites from the lid being taken off & placed back on!
    The only flaw & it's tough to notice is a "flat" smooth slice off the post that might be a manufacturing flaw as it's smooth as silk (photo 5 above)!
