Vintage Rosco Toys USA Tin toy Model A? Battery Operated Toy Car 1960s Japan?

Description

Used, cosmetically good for the age, has some rust near the hood and radiator. Doesn't work when "D" batteries are inserted, but I did not attempt any repairs. It's from an estate sale and I know little about it's history, appears as a 1960s Japan Tin Toy to me. I only gave it a quick cleanup and put a little oil on the rust to inhibit it, could use some additional cleaning if desired.
Measures about 9" long, 5-1/2" tall, 4-1/4" wide and weight is about 1 lb. 3.4 oz.
