    Description

    You are bidding on one very rare & vintage (1950's?) Howard cigarette lighter advertising the Upper Falls Package Store at 150 Needham St. Newton (MA) Mass. It also states: Edward A. Hickey Mgr., along with the phone number: DECATUR 2-1026. The other side has a picture of the building, which is actually still there although with a slightly different facade. The pictorial background is an aqua or turquoise color and the rest of the body is silver & chrome. The colored pictorial finish is in decent shape for it's age but most of the metal body/finish has a lot of wear, discoloration and/or scratches, hence the lower starting price. The lighter has not been tested but I assume it needs a new flint and it currently is empty (no fuel). The bottom is stamped: FINE QUALITY, AUTOMATIC, JAPAN.
