Vntg Mattel Jack in the Box featuring Clowns! 1953! NICE! WORKS! Beautiful!

Offered is a Vintage Mattel Jack in the Box that features 5 beautiful clowns!  There are pictures of a clwon on each of the four panels and one on top lid.  When cranked, a clown eventually pops up out of the box!  It is an older version by Mattel, copyrighted 1951, 1953.  It is "Stock No. 507, Pat. Nos 2.630.655, 2,505.666, 2,649.652, Patented n Canada."  This Mattel Jack in the Box is in excellent condition!  I see no rust on this box; not even on the rivets!  There may be an occasional light scratch here and there and there is slight paint wear on the inside upper left corner.  (I'm being super picky here!)  The music box plays and the clown pops out, but the music works intermittently.  You have to crank it a bit and then the music begins to play.  Sometimes it will not work cranking it forward, and you have to crank it backwards and the music begins.  It plays "Pop Goes The Weasel."  The old school clown has some paint wear on his triangular eyebrow and some wear to his felt hat.  (See pics).  Check out the awesome pictures of the vintage clowns on each panel of the box.  What a delightful, vintage Jack in the box!  Check out the vintage "Matty Mattel" trademark on the balloon on the top lid of the box.  A wonderful vintage Mattel Clown Jack in the Box to add to your collection!
