  • Condition: There is a noticeable scratch and dent on the "Mary, Mary" side as well as a small dent along the top rim on the "Jack and Jill" side. There are minor surface scratches, scuffs, dings, rust, and wear all over. The pop-up figure is missing either its hat or hair. The bottom of its outfit is fraying in places. I do not know if its outfit is original? It almost looks handmade, but I honestly don't know. The hand-crank works, the music plays, and the figure pops up - but the music is distorted. None of these imperfections is unusual for a toy of this age and function. It's actually in better condition than most!

    Description

    This is a rare one!  Not only is it "Mother Goose," but it is "A Carnival Product."  Most "Mother Goose" jack-in-the boxes you see are much newer versions and are made by Mattel.
    There is a noticeable scratch and dent on the "Mary, Mary" side as well as a small dent along the top rim on the "Jack and Jill" side.  There are minor surface scratches, scuffs, dings, rust, and wear all over.  The pop-up figure is missing either its hat or hair.  The bottom of its outfit is fraying in places.  I do not know if its outfit is original?  It almost looks handmade, but I honestly don't know.  The hand-crank works, the music plays, and the figure pops up - but the music is distorted.  None of these imperfections is unusual for a toy of this age and function.  It's actually in better condition than most!
    This is made of metal or tin and is standard size - measuring approximately 5 3/4" across, deep, and tall.
