Vintage Embossed Dr. Bell's Pine Tar Honey Bottles: Free Sample
My husband is an avid bottle digger, and these are a few of his finds from many years ago.  All these bottles have been hand dug in the Fort Worth, Texas area.  Some have come from areas close to the Stockyard Area in Historic Ft. Worth.  Other bottles have been rescued from old homesites when digging in a well or what might have been an outhouse.  I have washed these bottles in dish detergent and gently cleaned all the dirt and grime from outside and inside.
I have taken many photos of the bottles so you can different angles and hopefully all the imperfections.  These bottles are old and have some patination and signs of wear and age.  Please look at each photo and use the magnifying feature to get the best description. Honey Compound for Coughs Due to Colds (on front)
Clear, Screw Thread Closure, blob seal on bottom, side seam mold, embossing is on flattened indented

and is semi sharp, some staining, no cracks or chips.

Aqua, Cork Closure, Concave bottom no marks,  indented and flattened front, back and side panels, embossing is dull,  patination and
opalescence
makes it hard to read, very tiny chip in the lip.
Measures 4 1/2" X 1 1/2" X 1/2" (approx.)
